Go Kris!
Go KRIS ALLEN!!!! I'm so excited he made it to the top 3. I was telling Jason last night Kris' life will never be the same in the wonderful town of Conway. When he left he was probably just another student at UCA helping to lead worship at a local church...no big deal. But when he comes home this weekend, he'll be a superstar! Everyone will be going crazy and I can only imagine what he'll be feeling.

Anna's HIPPY Field Trip to the LR Zoo
Anna got to go on a field trip to the LR Zoo with the HIPPY preschool group last Wednesday. We rode the bus there and back, which was the coolest thing to her. Once we got there we all separated and it was nice spending quality one-on-one time with Sissy doing something special like that. We had a wonderful day together.
Here she is feeding the birds.
....and herself! :)
We rode the train around the zoo.
She's checking out all the stamped footprints. She asked about them a lot.
Here she is on the bus like a big girl. She's growing so quickly.

SOCCER!!!
The girls had their first soccer game of the season last Saturday. It was Anna's first game ever. They're playing with Upward, so they got to run through the red tunnel as their names were announced. They got a kick out of that.
They both had games at the same time, so Jason and I took turns watching each of them. It was fun. Anna was slow to warm up at first. After a few minutes she started running with the ball and kids, but wasn't trying to kick it. Toward the end of the game, she had started kicking it and getting right in with the best of them.
This is Megan's second year playing soccer. She played really well. She scored two or three goals and had a blast!
Whew! Can't you tell she's just exhausted! :)
At their next practice their teams had a scrimmage against each other, and Anna completely came out of her shell. I think having Megan playing with her caused her to want to play just as hard as her big sister. She was a force to be reckoned with. Jason and I just looked at each other and thought....where in the world did THAT come from?
